Ballycotton has been traditionally the earliest producing area of potatoes. My potatoes are grown in free draining soil which gives high dry matter and good taste. The first crop of the season are 'Home Grown', followed by British Queens, then Kerr Pinks for mid-season, and the winter brings 'Golden Wonders' and 'Roosters'
